BOOK REVIEW: Love, Tanya. By Tanya Burr

Todays post is only going to be a short one because it is another book review.
The book that i am going to be reviewing today is called Love, Tanya by Tanya Burr.

This book was amazing. It is not a novel or an autobiography it is more of a guide book with lots of great tips and tricks on what things are good and what things are bad. This is what it says on the blurb. Hi everyone and welcome to Love, Tanya! This book is really close to my heart, because its inspired by my journey to becoming confident and feeling happy about who I am. I wanted to write a book to share the things I've learnt with you - to revel my top tips on fashion, beauty, love, friendship, YouTube... and loads more! Plus, there is room for you to list your own hopes and dreams along side mine - so get creative and get involved! I'd love it if this book became a keepsake you can turn to whenever you need some guidance or even a little pick me up. I hope you enjoy it! Love, Tanya. In this book there is a lot of space to write down your thoughts and feelings about what the chapter is about. This book is separated into 15 sections. There are: Prolouge, Growing Up: part one, Growing Up: part two, Skincare essentials, Makeup essentials, Hair & Nails, Fashion, Love, Life, Baking & Recipes, Confidence & Happiness, YouTube, Looking Forward, Ask Tanya and Acknolegments. This book is like a roller coaster of feelings. Some parts are happy and some are just normal parts with no emotiand involved at all. I would give this book 5 stars because it is an outstanding book. I would recommend this book to anyone who is just starting out in makeup and hair and nails and girly things like that. I would also recommend this book to whoever likes fashion and likes Tanya Burr.
I will insert some images that are included in the book here:

The cover of the chapter Life.

MY EXPERIANCE MEETING ALFIE DEYES!

This blog post will be a LOT longer than the previous one because there is so much more things to talk about.
                                                             This is Alfie Deyes

Sunday 16th November 2014 was easily one of the best days of my life. It was the day i met Alfie Deyes (PointlessBlog). If you don't know who Alfie is, he is a male YouTuber with three different channels that he owns on YouTube. (Main channel, Vlog Channel and Gaming Channel.) All of his three channels have over 1 million subscribers. The reason why i got to meet him is because he brought out a book on the 4th September 2014 called "The Pointless Book" When he announced the book in one of his Main Channel videos he also announced that he will be doing a book tour. His first book signing was in London, England. He didn't exactly know what it was going to be like and how many people would show up. At the book signing there was over 8,000 people who showed up. Unforunatly he was only able to meet just over 1,000 people because if he met everyone it would take forever. Due to the craziness of this first book signing, he could go on with the other book signing that was organised like that one was. About a month later on his blog channel, he announced that he was going to two more places in the UK for his book tour. One of the places he went was Manchester, England. when i found this out, I was FREAKING out because i knew i was going to meet my favourite YouTuber of all time. I had to be very quick with buying the tickets because there was only a certain amount of tickets (1,000.) Due to health and safety reasons. The day after he announced the signing i went into school and found my best friend (Amy.) When i asked her does she want to come and meet  Alfie with me she said "YYYEEESSS" and was shouting it out loud in the school yard. The day rolled around really fast, after than i had imagined. The signing was held at Manchester United football ground but the actual signing where he was signing all the books was in one of the meeting rooms. The location of the signing was only revealed on the tickets which you had to print out. Because the location was revealed only on the tickets, the people who bought the tickets only knew where it was so nobody else would turn up who didn't have a ticket. Because i don't like football and had never been to Manchester United football stadium before this. i didn't know where i was going or anything. To get to the place where we had to line up we had to walk through a corridor ( i don't think we was supposed to go down there.) Once we was near the end of the corridor, we both heard a lot of screaming. at first i thought it was fireworks ( I don't know why, don't ask.) As we was near the en of the corridor i saw a tall figure with a lot of people around it. It turns out that it was Alfie was a least five security guards around him with one of his managers (Nat). Once i realised it was Alfie i said "Amy Amy Amy AMY IT IS ALFIE AAAAAAAA) ( i was screaming really loud). When he heard me and Amy screaming he smiled and wived at us. We was waiting in the cue for over 5 hours. During that time we made a new friend called Daisy. She was behind is in the cue and she didn't come with anyone. We spent most of the time shivering (because it was really cold that day and none of us had a coat) and getting to know each other. When we was finally in the building we had to show our tickets to a security guard and then we got handed our bright yellow wrist bands and a copy of 'The Pointless Book'. We then made our way upstairs to the meeting room. However on our way we got lost because there was loads of twists and turns because thee building is so big. When we finally got into the room there was loud music playing and a long line of people. Once i got to the front of the cue i was shaking like mad. I took a selfie with him whilst he signed my book. Alfie's manger was standing next to him and whilst i was waiting in the cue i saw that people was also took a selfie with Nat as well. After that it had finished and i was still shaking in the car on the way home. The amount of time i got with Alfie was only 30 seconds. However it was totally worth it because at the end of the day i got to meet one of my favourite YouTubers. I would like to thank all of the security guards who made the experience so safe and funny and even told us some jokes when we was sad because it would still take hours to be able to meet him.
This was Alfie at his Manchester Book signing.

BOOK REVIEW: Grace's Guide. The art of pretending to be a grown up. By Grace Helbig

Its only going to be short blog post today because it is a book review and there is not much to talk about besides what i liked and what i didn't like who i would recommend the book to and what i rated it.

If you don't know who Grace Helbig is then i will tell you what it says on the back of the book to describe Grace.
Grace Helbig is a comedian, actress, and YouTube personality. She previously hosted DailyGrace on My Damn Channel before leaving in January 2014 to create her own YouTube channel, it's Grace, which has more than 1.8 million subscribers and 150 million views. Grace is the executive producer and star of the feature film Camp Takota. She is the winner of the People's Voice Webby Award for Best First-Person Format and the Streamy Award for Personality of the Year and Best First-Person Series. Grace has been named one of Variety's 10 Comics to Watch, Fast Company's 100 Most Creative People in Business, and Forbes' 30 Under 30.

I really liked this book because it is different from other books. In this book it gives you tips and tricks about everything from throwing an adult party to dealing with panic attacks and depression. However even at the sad points of the book, Grace makes it fun. (This can help if you listen to it on audible.) Overall I would give this book 4 stars because it is a great read. I would recommend this book to anyone who thinks they need a little bit of help with something / anything or even needs a little Pick-Me-Up because this book has it all.
